The most popular place for tourists is the most beautiful mountain ridge of the Bohemian Forest which is formed by the peaks of Pancíř (1,214 m), Můstek (1,235 m) and Prenet (1,071 m). One of the most attractive places is the valley of the rivers Vydra and Otava, a protected area with mountain villages of Srní, Antígl, Kvilda and the hitorical town of Sušice.

There are about 500 kilometres of marked cycling routes in the Bohemian Forest of various degrees of terrain difficulty. There are also good conditions for climbing, horse riding, bathing and many other summer sports actvities.
