The spa of Luhačovice and its unique mineral springs - there are 15 of them in the region (14 hydrogencarbonatesodiumchloride mineral waters and 1 sulphuric spring) - is regarded as the most beautiful Moravian spa called the Pearl of Moravia and rightly so. The stamp of uniqueness upon the spa was set by the architecture of the spa premises built by the architect Dušan Jurkovič. A walk through the spa premises, inspired by the Wallachian architecture, is a remarkable experience. You will also find here an interesting museum of Luhačovické Zálesí with the display of folk art and balneology, the building of "Vincentka" mineral water, four springs right in town, which you should not fail to try; and walking and sipping on mineral waters you may contemplate that what is healthy may not necessarily be tasty, but do not lose heart. The salutary effects of the hydrogencarbonatesodiumchloride mineral waters used for drinking, inhalation and bathing treatments have been known from as early as the 17th century. There is no doubt that the most famous spring of the place is "Vincentka", which is the only spring to be filled and distributed all over the Czech Republic.
