Leisure and sport

For those of you who would love to experience an active vacation, there are recreational and sport intensive programs offered directly by hotels or their partners that will make sure that your needs have been fully met. You may custom design your own program yourself or we can organize one for you. Downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, ski and snowboard rentals as well as a ski school are available (are organized easily right at the hotel).
The Špičák Sport Center is our key partner. There are four downhill slopes, artificial snow and a four-seat aerial ropeway with terminal platforms at your disposal. The funicular is the safest in Czech Republic.

Mountain Bikes
There is a bike rental facility directly in the hotel. In the vicinity of the hotel, there are cycling routes stretching throughout the Czech Republic and into neighboring Bavaria. Upon your request, we can organize a special cycling program for you that will match the difficulty level you prefer, and provide you with a guide as well as a return transfer from the final destination point. Cycling races or competition contests may also be organized for groups.

Nordic Walking
Upon your request, with or without an instructor, you may organize a Nordic walk tour in the specified area adjacent to the hotel.

Golf
There are three golf courses near the hotel.
Oberzwieselau Golf Park, which is situated 26 km away, is an 18-hole course, Par 72 and over 6 km in length.
Deggendorfer Golf-Club, which is located 38 km from the hotel, is an 18-hole course with Par 72.
There is also the Šumava Golf Club about 25 km from the hotel, which is a perfect 6-hole course for amateur players who would like to learn this wonderful game.

Horses – Horse Riding
Podolí Western Ranch is located in the picturesque Šumava region, only 30 km from the hotel. Experience the beauty of the region on horseback.

Water Sports Fans
Otava is not only an exciting attraction for fans of water sports, but it is also a beautiful river which has carved its way around into the Šumava mountain range. Undertake an enthralling whitewater experience by rafting down the Otava River in a kayak, canoe or a raft!
