The choice is huge, so let us for ease of reference give you a brief overview.
The billiard table is located in the lobby of the restaurant. Cues and balls are free to borrow at the reception. Billiards is free for hotel guests 24/7.
Table tennis is located in the Pool & Fitness Centre. Rackets and balls are free to borrow at the Pool & Fitness Centre reception. Table tennis is open daily from 8:00 to 12:00 and 1:00pm to 9:00pm.
In front the hotel there is a mini-golf course. In summer, mini-golf open continuously for hotel guests and is available free of charge. For other players, the fee is CZK 50 per club per hour + CZK 100 refundable deposit.
Cycling trips are ideal due to the fact that close to the hotel there are many tempting cycle paths. Bikes can be rented from a half day to a full day. Bicycles are available at the nearby Špičák Ski resort.
Children’s bikes are available as well.
Sporty hiking – commonly known as Nordic Walking – can be enjoyed on marked trails found in the vicinity of the hotel. We are happy to lend out trekking poles to our guests and are available at the reception of the Pool & Fitness centre for CZK 50 per couple per day and other non-hotel guests rental is CZK 50 per hour + CZK 100 refundable deposit.
Ski rental is available at the Špičák ski resort, snowboards a children’s skis are of course also available.
For fans of golf other options are available close to our resort.
The Oberzwieselau Golfpark is 26 km away and is an 18-hole, 72-par course with a length of 6 km.
Deggendorfer Golf-Club is 38 km away, and is an 18-hole 72-par course
For beginners the Šumava Golf-Club is 25 km away, and is a 6-hole course.
In a beautiful Šumava setting only 30 km from the hotel is the popular Western Ranč Podolí (Podolí Western Ranch), which offers trips into the countryside to break in horses or leading horses around the ranch. Tips regarding trips around the area are happily provided directly at the ranch.
‘Otava’ is not only a term for boating enthusiasts, but also a beautiful river that cuts through the Šumava mountain range. Sail up the Otava River in a kayak, canoe or raft. You can find boats and equipment at Sušice.
This is a winter resort that has two slopes with a length of 650 and 300 meters, widely used by skiers. In summer you can enjoy, for example, a completely new and unique sporting attraction – non-motorized slalom carts. The area has a climbing centre, which stretches over an area of 440 m2 and offers 22 obstacles at heights of 7.9 meters to 1.5 meters. Outdoor activities complement the three bouncy trampolines, 2 of which are designed for our younger visitors, who also of course have a children’s playground available to them.
If you like adrenalin-fuelled adventure, then this could be perfect for you. This attraction can be enjoyed at the biggest and newly built professional course in the Kašper Mountains, which attracts its visitors with plenty of hiding places, obstacles, trenches and bunkers.
