Sports Complex above the Station offers year-round sports activities for all age groups. In the winter months, the area becomes a popular place for skiers with two ski slopes; when the snow melts, you can look forward to unique non-motorized slalom carts. The area also includes an extensive rope center and jumping trampolines.

Winter in Šumava

The nearby Ski resort Špičák is an ideal place for winter sports enthusiasts. The area offers a wide range of slopes of varying difficulties, including a funpark with obstacles mainly for freestyle beginners and the general public. You will also find well-marked cross-country trails that allow you to explore the picturesque surroundings of the Šumava nature. For visitors who want to enjoy winter fun without their own equipment, there is an option to rent sports equipment in the area. 

Summer activities

In good weather, rent mountain bikes at the Špičák Ski Resort and explore the many cycling trails in the area. For hiking enthusiasts, trekking poles are available for rent at the hotel.

Golfers will appreciate the proximity of several golf courses, including the 18-hole Golfpark Oberzwieselau. For horse lovers, the nearby Western Ranch Podolí offers rides into nature.

For adrenaline seekers, paintball is available at the largest field in Kašperské Hory. For paddlers, the descent of the Otava River on a kayak or raft is ideal, with equipment rental available in Sušice.
