Downhill Skiing

The dominant feature of the region is Velký Javor (1456 m). Thanks to its height, it is a guarantor of downhill skiing. Two six-seater chairlifts and a six-seater cable car will take you to the top in 4 minutes. From here, slopes of various lengths and levels of difficulty run with spectacular views of the Bavarian Forest and the Bohemian Forest. The slopes on the north side of the summit are 100% covered with technical snow and guarantee quality skiing until late spring.

The FIS race slope and the new World Cup slope allow you to enjoy sport skiing and carving. In the resorts of Bretterschachten and Scheibe, 90 km of groomed cross-country skiing trails await you. The modern ski area offers everything a skier expects nowadays. Less than 15 minutes from the hotel you will feel like you are in the Alps.

In the nearby Ski Resort Špičák you can rent skis, snowboards and children's skis for your little ones are a matter of course.
