Prague

Prague Zoo is one of the most beautiful zoos in the world and one of the most visited attractions in the Czech Republic. It covers an area of 58 hectares in the picturesque surroundings of Troja and is home to more than 5,000 animals from around 650 species. Visitors can wander through themed pavilions such as the Indonesian Jungle, Hippo Pavilion and Africa Up Close, giving them a glimpse of diverse ecosystems from around the world. The gorilla exhibit, the elephant valley and the modern Darwin's Crater pavilion with Tasmanian devils are also big draws.

The zoo offers a number of accompanying programs, such as guided feedings and meetings with keepers, which provide a glimpse into the animals' lives and behind-the-scenes care. The grounds are wheelchair accessible and accessible for families with strollers or wheelchair users. There are several restaurants, relaxation areas and lookouts on site that offer beautiful views of Prague and the grounds themselves. The Prague Zoo is open daily all year round and is an ideal place for visitors of all ages looking for an experience connected with nature, animal conservation and quality relaxation.
