Royal Golf Club Mariánské Lázně is the oldest golf course in the Czech Republic, inaugurated in 1905 by King Edward VII. The course is a typical example of classic Scottish and Irish design of its time, set in the foothills of the Slavkov Forest. Surrounded by rich coniferous woodland, it offers a pleasant setting even on hot summer days and spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
