The Beetles Nature Trail

The nature trail will take you through the landscape that inspired the writer Jan Karafiát to write his famous book The Beetles. The trail is suitable for families with children and offers engaging stops with information about nature, history and characters from the book. The trail starts at the Evangelical parish where Karafiát worked and leads through the surrounding picturesque landscape of Vysočina. At each station, visitors can read excerpts from the book and learn about the places that influenced its creation. The whole route is easy and well signposted, ideal for an afternoon of exploration.
