The Meanders of the Svratka Nature Reserve near Milov is a quiet and exceptionally well-preserved area where the Svratka River meanders freely through the landscape, creating blind arms, wetlands and pools. This unique piece of nature is home to rare animals such as the brook lamprey or the red-backed stilt, and a refuge for many species of plants tied to the wet meadows. From the OREA Resort Devět Skal you can easily walk here - just go down to the Milov pond and follow the marked trail towards the village of Křižánky. The trail is about 1 km long and easy, suitable for children. A walk through the reserve is an ideal choice for those who seek peace, natural beauty and a gentle escape from civilization.
