The historic baroque pharmacy in Letovice, founded in 1784, is located on the ground floor of the former Convent of the Brothers of Mercy, now part of the Letovice Hospital. It is a unique monument of 18th century pharmacy art, which is protected as a cultural monument. The interior is decorated with richly ornamental built-in furniture with Latin descriptions of medicines, original apothecary jars and paintings with motifs of healing the sick. The pharmacy has served its purpose for more than 150 years and retains its original Baroque atmosphere. It is a popular destination for history and art lovers who want to look back to a time when healing was mainly by the power of nature and faith.
