Charles Bridge is the oldest preserved bridge over the Vltava River in Prague. It was built in the 14th century during the reign of Charles IV and connects the Old Town with the Lesser Town. The bridge is lined with thirty Baroque statues and offers magnificent views of Prague Castle. It is one of the most iconic symbols of Prague and a favourite spot for tourists and artists alike.
