Add the key to your wallet. The key will be automatically activated after room assignment.

Attach your iPhone, Apple Watch or Android phone to the reader on the door. Done.

Power Reserve - The key works even when the iPhone is dead - up to 5 hours after the battery is dead thanks to Power Reserve technology. (iPhone XS and newer)
Privacy and Security - The key is securely stored directly in the device (Secure Element). Apple and Google never see which rooms you unlock or when.
Works offline - The key works without a Wi-Fi or cellular network connection. It communicates directly via NFC.
Key sharing - Share your room key with family or friends directly from Apple Wallet. Recipients don't need their own reservation.
Apple Watch & Android - The key is automatically added to the paired Apple Watch. For Android, it works directly from your phone with NFC.

The key is stored locally on your device - your digital key is securely stored in the Secure Element - a dedicated security chip from which the key cannot be extracted or copied.
Apple and Google don't have access to your data - Apple and Google never see which rooms you unlock, when you unlock them, or any other details about your access. This data never leaves your device.
Encrypted communication - Communication between your device and the reader is over an encrypted NFC channel. Each transaction is uniquely secured and cannot be eavesdropped on or replayed.
Biometric authentication - Face ID, Touch ID or password authentication is required to view reservation details in Apple Wallet.
Automatic deactivation - After check-out, the key is automatically remotely deactivated and archived. When you change your stay, the key is automatically updated.
