Spa Colonnade of Maxim Gorky
The main spa colonnade or the Maxim Gorky Colonnade is one of the symbols of Mariánské Lázně. The colonnade is a historical monument of the Czech spa industry.
The Singing Fountain
The Singing Fountain is one of the dominant features of Mariánské Lázně. It plays daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every odd hour, at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., including a projection with coloured lighting. Opening ceremony on 30 April at 9 pm, closing on 31 October at 8 pm.
Boheminium Park
The Boheminium Park is an educational tour on the eastern outskirts of Mariánské Lázně with perfect models (scale 1:25) of important building and technical monuments of the Czech Republic in a beautiful landscape park setting. You will find here, for example, a model of the Červená Lhota Castle, Mount Říp and more than 70 other models.
Teplá Monastery
The Premonstratensian monastery in Teplá near Mariánské Lázně was founded on the basis of the Third Crusade to the Holy Land in the 12th century. The monastery also includes the farm buildings of a brewery, a hayloft and a granary.
Bečov Castle and Chateau
The medieval castle of Bečov was founded in the first half of the 14th century. The first reliable mention of it dates back to 1349, when the then owners of the Bečov manor, the Lords of Osek, later spelled Rýzmburk, issued a document proving the existence of the castle.
Kynžvart Castle
The castle is a unique example of a rural representative residence in the style of Viennese Classicism and Empire. Originally a Baroque mansion, the Austrian Chancellor von Metternich had it rebuilt into an Empire-style castle in 1821-36. The castle houses one of the most valuable castle libraries in Bohemia.
The Chodovar Brewery and Beer Spa
500 years of beer brewing tradition, romantic accommodation in the middle of the historic grounds of the Chodovar family brewery, the original beer spa, Czech culinary specialties in the restaurant situated in the 12th-century rock cellars of the brewery and the unspoilt nature of the Bohemian Forest... Mariánské Lázně City Museum
One of the landmarks of Goethe Square in Mariánské Lázně is the building of the town museum. The two-storey classical house (No. 11) was built in 1818 as a guesthouse for spa guests and named "At the Golden Grape".
Prelát Nature Park
The natural park at Prelát Spring or also the "playful spring" offers activities especially for children. Here you can roast marshmallows or try the monkey bars, climbing frames and other attractions.
Loket Castle
A Gothic royal castle founded in the 13th century, named after its position above the bend (elbow) of the Ohře River.
