Proposal for spa care
On the basis of a recommendation from your treating or specialist doctor, your GP will issue a proposal for spa care covered by your health insurance and will also suggest comprehensive or contributory spa care and a suitable spa location. Exercise your right to choose a spa facility and, if you are recommended treatment in Mariánské Lázně, ask your general practitioner to mention OREA Spa Hotel Cristal Mariánské Lázně (CRISTAL PALACE a. s. Mariánské Lázně) when issuing the proposal.
Approval of spa care
The health insurance company's reviewing doctor will assess your proposal and, if approved, the health insurance company will send it directly to the treatment facility (in the case of comprehensive spa care) or to the patient's address (in the case of contributory spa care). An approved proposal for comprehensive spa care is valid for 3 months from the date of issue by the general practitioner for urgency level II and 1 month for urgency level I. For contributory spa care, the validity is 6 months from the date of issue.
