The Holedná Game Reserve is one of the most beautiful natural places in the surroundings of Brno and is ideal for a quiet trip into nature just a few minutes from the city centre. The large forest park on the border of the town districts of Bystrc, Jundrov and Kohoutovice offers dozens of kilometres of forest paths suitable for walking, running and cycling.

The biggest attraction of the preserve is the opportunity to observe wildlife in its natural environment. Deer, fallow deer and mouflon roam in the large enclosures and, with a bit of luck, can be spotted right by the paths. Another popular destination for visitors is the modern Holedná lookout tower, which offers a beautiful view of the Brno dam, the surrounding forests and the city skyline.

The game preserve is accessible all year round and thanks to its well-maintained paths, it is also suitable for families with children. There are several entrance gates and resting places where you can take a break during your walk. In spring and summer it attracts with its lush greenery, in autumn with the bright colours of the forest and in winter with the peaceful atmosphere of the snowy landscape.
