Black Lake
Sumava
Černé jezero is the largest and deepest natural lake in the Czech Republic. It is surrounded by steep slopes and the dense forests of the Šumava Mountains. From the OREA Resort Horizont, you can reach it by following the red hiking trail via the Špičácké sedlo pass. The route is approximately 5 km long and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours to walk. The path is easy, follows a paved asphalt road and is suitable for pushchairs. You’ll walk through beautiful countryside with views of the Šumava peaks.
