Wolf enclosure
The wolf enclosure near Srní in Šumava is one of the most popular places for visitors who want to get to know the beast that is returning to the Czech landscape - the common wolf. The area is located near the village of Srní and offers a unique opportunity to observe wolves in an environment that is close to their natural habitat. The enclosure covers an area of over 3 hectares and has a wooden trail about 300 metres long, ending with a viewing platform at a height where you can see the wolves without disturbing their peace. An information centre in the area explains the life of wolves, their return to the wild and their relationship with humans. The enclosure is free of charge all year round and is also suitable for families with children.
