Hunting lodge Karlstejn

The Karlštejn Hunting Lodge is located in the village of Karlštejn near Svratouch, high in the landscape of the Žďár Hills. It was built in the 1870s as a hunting lodge by Count Filip Kinský. Over the years, it changed several owners, including the Thurn Taxis family, and the state also had its period here. Today, after restoration, it is once again in private hands and you can take a guided tour.
With a stroller it is a lovely walk in the castle park, but you cannot take it on a tour.
