Malinska rock

Highlands

The Malinska rock can be seen from the Milovice pond. It is a group of rune rocks arranged in a circle around the top. Together with the boulder stream, which you have to walk along in the last part of the trail, they are an example of glacial and frost action in the older Quaternary. Weathering has also sculpted the fissure cave and rock niches. The rocks reach heights of up to 20 m, the most important rock formations being Výspa, Srnčí věž, Škuner and Buldok.

From the OREA Resort Devět Skal you can reach it comfortably on foot. The return route is about 5 km long and, except for the last section over the stones and the climb up the rock itself, it is easy and suitable for children walking independently. The last section, the lava rocks, is not suitable for strollers.
